About PI

Dr. Jui-Yen (Thomas) Lin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. in National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Delaware (UD), USA.

His research centers on interfacial phenomena in environmental systems, with an emphasis on translating fundamental understanding into engineering solutions for water treatment and resource recovery.

Dr. Lin has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles in leading SCI journals, including Water Research, Applied Catalysis B, and Chemical Engineering Journal. In 2020, he received the Award of Excellence in Research from the CTCI Foundation.
